Every animal eats.
Only one cooks.

Hungry Clione is a wordless animation series from the deep sea. No dialogue. No heroes. No villains. Only instinct — the raw, beautiful, unsettling act of one creature eating another.

Humans are the only animals that cook their food and grieve their prey. Everything else simply survives. Clione doesn't judge. Clione is hungry.

No hero. No villain. No moral waiting at the end. Just the oldest story in the world, told the way the ocean has always told it — in silence.

A sea angel
that hunts.

Clione limacina. Translucent. Delicate. No bigger than a fingernail. And a predator that fires hidden hooks from inside his own head to seize his prey.

Beautiful is not the same as harmless. We didn't invent the unease — the ocean did. We just animate it, and let you decide what you saw.

Class
Gastropod · sea angel
Diet
Strictly carnivorous
Tells
None. That's the problem.

Drawn
by hand.

This is sheet 23 of a single movement — pencil on animation paper, with the timing chart still in the corner. Before the water, before the color, Clione is graphite and a steady hand.

Every episode is built this way: frame by frame, drawn, checked, and drawn again. The unease you feel is hand-made.
